This is the third album in a series of "beat compilations" that were released from 1998-2009. Some of these beats were crafted just for this project, while some were revived from 4-track beat tapes, Akai S20 floppy discs, and beats made with SoundForge and Rebirth.
This album, like all my others, was made to listen to from start to finsh. It takes the listener on a musical journey filled with gritty samples, deft turntablism, and sonic allusion. This album was originally released a month before the birth of my first child, which, in a way, marks the ending of a chapter in my musical carer, but also a new one.
If you like the style of DJ Shadow, DJ Cam, Madlib, Prince Paul, and the like, your cravings will be satisfied! From farm to turntable- 100% Organic.
