This is the first album in a series of "beat compilations" that were released from 1998-2009. This album is crafted entirely with samples and scratches, with the exception of the use of an Alesis SR-16 drum machine on 2 songs. All of the tracks were originally recorded and mixed with a Tascam Portastudio 4-track cassette recorder.
This album, like all my others, was made to listen to from start to finsh. It takes the listener on a musical journey filled with gritty samples, deft turntablism, and sonic allusion.

Coming from the Midwest (Iowa City ,IA) he learned to make tape loops at his college's radio station before ever learning to scratch records.
