This is the second album in a series of "beat compilations" that were released from 1998-2009. Some of these beats were crafted just for this project, while some were revived from 4-track beat tapes, Akai S20 floppy discs, and beats made with SoundForge and Rebirth.
This album, like all my others, was made to listen to from start to finsh. It takes the listener on a musical journey filled with gritty samples, deft turntablism, and sonic allusion. This album uses sounds of nature juxtaposed with electronic sounds, exploring the genres of house music and drum and bass with a hip-hop foundation.
